Responsibilities

  • Participate in Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports for the organization.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing of invoices and collection of payments.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and internal financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensuring Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance, including preparing and filing VAT returns, analyzing financial data for correct VAT treatment.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monitor financial performance against budgeted targets throughout the year.
  • Support the year-end closing process, including compiling necessary documents and preparing for audits.
  • Analyze financial data and provide reports to management for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards specific to the real estate industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Pact) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards relevant to real estate.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
